How long does administrative processing take at NVC my wife and I we're supposed to have our interview date by now but instead we got to necessary administrative processing. Anyone know how long that takes or what it is?

It could take days, weeks, or months.  Did you get a checklist from NVC?  If so, what was required?

I called NVC yesterday after I was supposed to receive an email by now it's been 12 weeks they were supposed to be allowed 11 weeks they told me that my case was in( necessary administrative processing.) I asked the guy on the phone what was that he said he wasn't sure he was just in the ministrative processing. Very frustrating

Yes a few months ago and we replied right away..a police report fro. The Beneficiary...my Lawyer thought it was required at the interveiw not NVC..Hell on Earth

Sorry to hear that you were given a checklist, but your lawyer should have known because it clearly lists the documents to send and one of them is the police report.  Your lawyer caused the delay.  I hope you are not paying him/her much.  They should do something for you for the dumb mistake they caused.

We received a checklist on 1/13/17 for a "missing" document.  My attorney immediately called the NVC to challenge them.  The attorney told me that the matter was resolved..........however, we didn't receive the official "case complete" email until 12 weeks after that.......on 4/10/17

I dealt with 4 lawyers when I was going through my divorce.  They were all crooks.  I wouldn't believe your lawyer resolved anything if you ask me.  It sounds like he forgot or sent the document and told you that he got it resolved.  I am assuming and I might be wrong, but I don't trust any lawyer

Those were my thoughts exactly!!!!  The timing for everything certainly implied he actually sent the document after we received the checklist......in fact the attorney's office said this in an email:

"The NVC officer told us not to send any document we have previously sent"

That sounded very fishy to me....lol

If it took 12 weeks for them to complete your case since your attorney "resolved" issue, then they just sent it lol

This is about NVC I'm trying to find out what necessary administrative processing is and exactly how long it takes is an open-ended if so that should be changed to allow 30 days or whatever for this as far as my case is concerned it's unnecessary administrative processing they have a complete package

Administrative processing is open-ended.  The "allow 11 weeks" is a generic statement.  They will take as long as they need.

Once a checklist item has been sent to NVC, your case is sent to the back of the line for another 11 or 12 weeks. Sorry, but there is no concrete answer to your question.
