K-2 Applied green card I make a mistake about put the new name without going to court

Timeline

I apply I-485 for my son and I put the new name and middle name for him without go to court. Someone just told me u can put new name and new surname in ur green card. Today we went to fingers prints but my son can't do. So if I need to go back to use his old name the same passport how I can do? 

 

Just so so silly me to believe that guy thank you for help

A adult that are just married can change name on the AOS because the marriage certificate shows legal proof of name change.

 

You can't just do that with a child. So no you can't just change his name on the AOS documents without proof of legal name change.

Hi Georgia thank you so much 😅 And yes I just totally know right now but it's too late so I really don't know what to do now. I talking with my husband and agree that should go back to use old name first and will change for my son when he can get citizen
