Hi guys,

my NOA2 should (still praying though) come in some days, I would like to know what will happen in this next step : (papers, appointments,...).

I mean I know some basic stuff such as the doctor appointment, but I don't remember well (I am at work lmao)

Thanks :)

Here is a flowchart from Visajourney.com

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

How to file for EAD: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3ead

How to file for AOS: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

Follow that chart. It is precisely how things develop during the entire K1 process.

Make sure you study these steps thoroughly and all your papers are in order. Also be patient. The whole K1 visa consists of long waiting times. My wife applied for K1 in Feb 2016. I ended up entering US in Sept 2016, got married at the beginning of Oct 2016. Got my work authorization in January 2017. Look at all processing times. USCIS works really hard.

You can use your ESTA to visit your fiance as a tourist in mean while, up to the point before you receive interview time at the US embassy.

I wish I could visit my fiancée but I am working to get some money before I come to the, US we are both students ^^ thanks for the advice
