AOS granted...NO INTERVIEW

We received a letter yesterday stating my wife's AOS has been granted. We did not have an interview. The letter says we should receive her permanent resident card in the mail within 6-8 weeks. The letter also gave us the option to obtain temporary resident status evidence by making an appointment with our local USCIS field office. My wife currently is in possession of a combo EAD/AP card so I don't feel it is necessary to schedule an appointment to obtain "temporary" evidence of her green card.

Any thoughts?

No need for temporary resident status evidence. She has the EAD/AP combo card. She is good to go.

Congrats.

We received official I-797 NOA letter in the mail today.

The first letter stating AOS approval received on April 22 was from our local field office.

Good luck to everyone trying to obtain their respective documents!

When did you file for AOS

We filed for her AOS in September of last year. Additional info was requested and we submitted it around the first week of November 2017.

It has been approximately 7 months since we filed for AOS. I think you can view our timeline and see the dates. I have tried to keep it updated although I am not sure it always updates.
