After the interview the petition was returned to USCIS? So denied?

If so, it can take anywhere I've heard from 12-18 months before they may even get a hold of you about trying to reaffirm the petition or what not.

Reapplying itself is not the best idea as you have to address what the issue was that caused the case to be returned.

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

The consulate didn't tell what the issue was. We had our pictures, chats on WhatsApp, Facebook and emails. He asked a question like why don't you have a picture of my wife and myself kissing during the wedding. I guess that's one was a cause. I answered that the officiating minister didn't include kissing but we shared communion.

Again I think her first visit was another cause. But other pics at our honeymoon was romantic.

Ours took 14 months to review, and another 8 months after reaffirmed to get another interview.  Good luck.  A lot depends on what service center you had and how backup up they are as well.

Hello my husband has a 5 year bar I have been leaving abroad for almost 3 years and his bar expires in 1 yr. and 6 months. We will be having our 1st interview at Juarez I am just waiting for the interview date. I still have not submitted waivers our lawyer said we will submit them after the interview has gone by. After seeing the processing times and considering my husbands bar expires in 18 months I should just wait? instead of submitting the waivers that will probably take longer.

When you file is returned it first goes back to NVC and then goes back to the service center who approved it.  Ours was approved by the Ca office.  I was on the phone with them at least once a month to check status.  As soon as it reached the 1 yr mark I contacted my Senators office.  He helped.  He wrote them twice and it was finally looked at 1 week later.
