G-325 change

Hi All,

as i was reviewing the G-325, i think i have discovered an error

in the area for residence in the past 5 years: she did not fill out the name and time of city of where she went to college; she did not do that because of a language issue: ie, she assumed residence ment "home" and nothing else.

so can we and should we change this error. If so, how can we go about doing it. and does this change put us Back in the Line?

the packet was sent to CSC

my dates: 1/24/2007 NOA1

1/28/2007 Touch

Nothing Since.

Best Regards

Hi,

she is in India, and i don't think there would be a RFE from the USC-- but i don't want to complicate the matter, by say, when her interview takes place, to have something incorrect on her application.

i do understand your point, though.

They would send the RFE to the US citizen, regardless of whose G325a the error is on. Its the USC's responsibility to get the information corrected from the overseas fiance/e and resend it to USCIS. They may not even notice it.

and when i change the error does it put me back in the line?

Based on the information you provided here, I think your best course of action is to do nothing at this time. If questions are raised, fine, answer them. The G-325a is not "her application". She will fill out an actual visa application later in the process and can provide correct information at that time. Actually, in some countries, it is customary to list only permanent addresses anyway. Unless there is a specific reason to think there will be an issue with regard to her residence while attending school, I would leave it like it is.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
