Hello, I am in the process of switching from a temporary job to a full time job. I was wondering as long as I make enough according to the guidelines and i am full time will they say anything about the time length of my position?

The longer the better honestly. Also depends how close you are above the minimum requirements.

If even relatively close I might get a co-sponsor since especially for AOS it is 125% minimum.

I was in the same position when we applied for my husbands AOS. When we applied I had my full time job for just a couple months - but it was well above the poverty line. I consulted with an immigration lawyer and she insisted we get a co-sponsor since I had the job for less than a year. When our interview came they told me they didn't even look at the co-sponsor paperwork since I already met the requirements - regardless of how long I had the job.

Honestly I think you could get away without having a sponsor - although it's not a 100% guarantee. If you have access to a co-sponsor I would definitely suggest using one just to take some stress and worry off of your mind.

AOS has different rules.

AOS has to just look at the requirements, straight line, no discretion. If you meet the requirements, the rest doesn't matter much as long as you have proof to back up that you meet the requirements.

The K-1 interview allows for consular discretion, which means even if you meet the requirements, if the CO has any valid worries they can ask for a cosponsor, or a second cosponsor if you already have one. (We were asked for a second cosponsor after the first met the requirements).

Honestly Ghana is a hard embassy anyways, and giving them anymore to look at against the fiance is usually a bad idea. Having a cosponsor ready to go if needed is always the best route.

Usually they want at least 6 months at a job, but they can also take job stability into consideration, if you traditionally only hold a job for 6 months and then switch it can be used against you.

By the looks of your timeline, ya'll should be getting your NOA2 soon, so you could get a few months in at the new job and then hope you have enough proof to back it up.

Thank you I'll definitely look into a co sponsor!

You're completely correct - that K-1 comes down to the consular's discretion. The immigration counselor went pretty in depth about the financial processes from K-1 to Citizenship and while AOS certainly goes deeper than just glancing to make sure you meet requirements, K-1 finances are bit tougher since it's the very beginning of the process. I tried to consider that in my response - which is why I didn't say I was 100% and a co-sponsor was a good idea. The 6 month consideration is an excellent point to consider.
