Missing check box rfe

Hi,

 

I tried to google this and couldn't find an answer.

 

We got an rfe for a missing check box.

 

Do we just fill out the rfe page which asks the question again and/or do we also answer it on the I129 we originally sent and they sent back with the rfe?

 

Is it needed to add in a cover letter too in our response?

 

Any help much appreciated, don't want to make a mistake over something so silly.

My name is Milana and I would like to congratulate you on your K1 Petition approval!

The reason I am addressing to you is that we have more or less the same issue as you had. Namely, we also received RFE regarding missing check box (3 in total) but unlike yours, our RFE only had notice page (blue paper) and another page (white) that asks the question again. USCIS did not send us back original submission of our I-129F Form.

Considering that google research does not help in this matter (still!) we would really appreciate if you could share your experience.

Hi Milana, thank you and of course I'm happy to help.

 

We only filled out the rfe page they sent us. We didn't send anything else back. Fill in the page they send you with any missing extras( such as, if you have a criminal record you may have to produce a few other things but I don't know about that).

 

Just put it in the envelope provided and resend it back.

 

We got approval within 2 weeks
