Job offer immediately after moving to the US, any way to expedite work authorization?

Hey,

I have a K1 Visa in my passport.

I plan on moving to the US on May 17th and getting married May 18th.

Currently I am employed by an international company, in their Israel branch, where I live.

They offered me a job in their San Francisco location, where I will be moving.

Is there *any* way to expedite the green card process, or perform any kind of bureaucracy that will allow me to work for the US office faster than actually filing for Adjustment of Status and waiting an indeterminate amount of time for a green card? My concern is that my company might "give up on me" since getting my work authorization is going to take time.

(Under the assumption that my employer will do whatever I ask of them if it will get me to start working for them sooner)

Thank you very much!

If you have a formal offer letter, it may help you expedite the ead. But first you'll need to file for aos and receive the noa1 to then try and go for the expedite

Thank you for the quick reply!

So should I follow the advice given in this thread ?

You can file for ead as a K-1 and ask for an expedite, there is a fee and it is only good for 90 days.  Otherwise you will have to file your aos, ask for an expedite, and send them proof of job offer.  Even with an expedite request it takes 60 days.

Is filing for an EAD separately from AOS make any difference though? I thought you could file them together for "free" and throw in the AP as well, no?

And regarding L1, that is an option, but the problem is that I would be bound to this specific employer, and give up my K1 which I worked so hard to get, so why would I do such a thing really?

Marry and file AOS along with the EAD/AP (yes these are free when filed with AOS) the next day. NOA1 Should come within a week or so. Request expedited EAD at that point. At least that is how I understand the process. Good luck.
