Good morning every one,
We have sent our documents (k1 Visa) at the end of January and got the payments receipt in the middle of february. We havent got yet our Case Number. We would like to know how long does take this process or if there is a place (telephone number, mail adress) where we can ask ? Thank you very much for any information.
Have a wonderful day!

If you've got your NOA1, the receipt number should be in there. Look for a WAC number. Your NOA2 should take roughly about 3 months. Then another couple of months for the NVC + embassy level.

You can check your case status on myUSCIS page with the WAC number. However, if you're just at NOA1, it will just say the same thing as the NOA1 text and e-mail.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

You will receive your case number after USCIS approves your I-129F (NOA2) and forwards it to NVC. NVC will provide you a case number so you can proceed next steps including filling DS160, creating ustraveldocs account... Good luck.

OP is talking about the receipt number that comes with the NOA1 so they can track the process. The WAC number is on the NOA1.

The NOA1 will have the WAC number on it. This is your receipt number, not your case #. The case number will be assigned by the NVC after you have received your NOA2 (approval of K-1) and the packet is sent to New Hampshire where the NVC is located. After they receive the packet, you can call them about a week later to get your case #. That number is:  (603) 334-0888. You will need your receipt number which starts with WAC.  Best of luck!

Please fill in the I-129F Sent  and I-129F NOA1 dates on your timeline. After you do that, your timeline will show an estimated date range for your NOA2.

About 15 - 20 days after you get your NOA2, you should be able to get your case number.

Once your documents were sent, you should have received a notification by regular mail. The document in the letter you get from the USCIS should have your case number. The case number should start with a WAC...Did your fiance receive this?

And it's written on the NOA1 as receipt number, while most of us call it a case number. It's whatever.

Check the Notice of Action (797) that came weeks after you send in your petition. The US fiance(e) should have received that, period. It'll tell him/her that the petition is received and processed by the noted service center.
