Hi everyone!

I'm a USC and my husband is from Iran, so we tried to get our paperwork together ASAP after our January wedding. We have been together for two years, and we met while he was an F-1 student. We don't have an attorney, so we were finally able to get everything sent this Thursday. It is set to arrive in the Chicago lockbox today!

We used the new I-130 and I-130A which don't require the G-325A's, so I'll try to answer people's questions about those. We also used the new forms for the I-485, I-765, and I-693. so that I-765 is a renewal. Let me know if you have any questions about the new form!

Nice.  I just finished the new i-130.  I'm not sure here: did you need a G-325A  with the I-485 application?

Hi! Yes, we sent a beneficiary G-325A with my husband's I-485, but it doesn't require one for the petitioner. Make sure you have 2 passport size photos of each of you for the new I-130, that's another difference!

I've been looking for this information, how did you find out that it's no longer required?

I read it on Reddit.com/r/immigration and then I looked at the new instructions. Because the I-130 went from 2 pages to 12, and they added the I-130A for the beneficiary, those forms now contain all the information previously asked on the G325A. The instructions also no longer reference the G325A

Can you tell me which information they want in PART1

9.a and 9.b

It´s 2 dates required but it only says "Information about you" above

It's continued from "last physical address outside the United States" which starts on page 1, 8a :) so it's the dates the beneficiary lived last outside of the US at that address

My husband also filed for the I-765 previously. So now i'm asking for a new EAD card for him under Aos. My question is- do you have to send a copy of his previous EAD card along with the previous acceptance letter?
