Travel with Advance Parole during waiting for GC

Hi

Did anyone travel to another country with advance parole while waiting for the green card after Trump became a president?

I am planning on traveling back home in April with my combo card; work permit and advance parole. And I have not got the green card yet.

Would it be safe to travel with advance parole? do i have to declare anything before i leave USA? or I just have to show my combo card and prepare all related documents at the immigration when getting back?

Please advise and share your experience because I do not see anyone traveling with advance parole after Trump became the president at all.

My husband and I can back from Haiti using his AP at the end of January, right after the travel restrictions were announced. We didn't have any problems at all. They didn't even ask him any questions. If you're not a criminal or coming from one of the seven countries on hold, you should be fine.

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

Hey guys,

blackeyedsusan...Great to hear you didn't have problems coming back in the US....I'm planning to travel in April as well. Got my EAD/AP... just never used it before. Do I need other documents other than the combo card? I mean apart from passport...☺...

Ktai...not sure if the new immigration law will have effect on pple with EAD/AP... it might if you're from one of the 7 countries...if not you should be ok I guess... UNLESS the new rules that come up in the next few weeks change everything...?

We also had a copy of our marriage certificate and our NOA for the I-485. But they never asked to see them.

I traveled outside US twice using my AP card and the overall experience is very different.

1st time in Nov 2016 in Boston Logan - 30 mins all together with secondary and no questions asked.

2nd time - few days ago in New York/JFK - detained for 2,5 hours - tons of questions - they took all my stuff out of the bag to the table, searched everything, took my phone, wallet and all papers from the bag and kept those for half an hour with no explanation.
