People who filed after us have notification and we don't?

Hi everyone. Just getting really upset here. We are in the forum of Feb AOS filers, and our packet arrived in Chicago on the 10th. Others in the group had their packages arrive days after us, and already have their notifications. We do not. We sent in e notification forms and everything. We can't check the status of the money because it was a money order, and it takes 30 days to check. So we are sitting here with no idea why we haven't heard anything. That packet, as you all know, was expensive and has a lot of personal information. We have no idea what's going on and why someone who's packet got there days after ours, would already be notified. We are pretty much freaking out.

It will be that way all the way through the process. All I can say is you know they got it so it's not lost anywhere. I'm sure you will hear something soon.

Did you include the form G-1145?

Yes Georgia16 is correct.  This whole process is nightmare.  All you can do is just to wait. I know it is so frustrating and stressful. I thought I would go mental. lol

In my case it took 13 days or so to receive the e-notification from the USCIS. ( you can checkout  my timeline page)

Yeah we did. We put it all together as per the guide on here. It's just scary because we have no way of knowing that they received it.

Yeah it just doesn't make sense. Surely they should get to them in the order they are received? It has been 11 days and 6 working days because of the holiday.

Yeah we tracked it and it said it arrived. But no one had to sign for it, and the money came out at the post office when we got the money order. So all we see is that it got to the address.

They say they do but they really don't.

Look at our AOS processing time me and the other guy here in the thread I applied 2 months before him no RFE/RFIE and mine is not at local office. It really also can depends on a lot of stuff and especially whos table you end on some are fast and others are not.

Thanks, we hope so. It's hard not worry that all the work we put in was for nothing. I see on yours you got the NOA1 text only around 6 days after delivery. So it's very worrying.

Yes but some got it faster and some had to wait longer. It's like that through it all. Some who filed after you will get approved before and you will probably gets yours before some others. They do not do them in orders even though they claim it.

If interview then it also depends on the wait time for the local offices.

All you can do is check all your papers were signed and you put in the correct fees? If you did that then the package won't come back and you will get your NOA1 soon.

Yeah lol I'm such a perfectionist that everything was checked 5 times before we sent it. It's just upsetting that we have no one to contact about it.

It depends on the officer who is handling your case. If s/he processes quick then you are lucky.

As you can see my attached, my EAD and AP (N&D) got approved really late, out of regular time frame. So it happens all the time someone who submitted the file after you might get approved faster than you.

My husband kept telling me " relax" but I was like "nooooo!"

as you said it is impossible not to worry about the process.  I worried about everything.
