Hey y'all! My husband is from Sweden and I am a USC. We got married before his Tourist Visa ran out. We got the i-130 approved, and it's taken us another six months to a year to file our i-485 (financial issues). Luckily I got a nice tax return and can afford to pay that i-485 filing fee. I need help figuring out what to send with it. So far I have figured out I need to send in

I-485

I-765 (we'd like him to work ''over the table'')

I-131 (we would love to go to sweden to visit family as soon as all of this is approved)

G-325A (i just read somewhere that this must be submitted with the I-485).

Am I missing anything else? Please advise. I've poured through questions within the forum but I can't find this specific question, just parts and pieces and a lot of them seem to come from individuals who have a k-1, k-2, visa which is not what my husband has. It would be helpful if someone who has been through our situation can help. Once again, he came in on a Tourist Visa and has overstayed about 2.5 years now. We currently live in New Orleans.

best,

Monica

Should I mention, we don't have the funds for a lawyer. With all the help from the kind people on the internet, I think we can figure this out ourselves!

You have a nice guide section on this site, this might be the guide/checklist you need http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

Not quite sure how it works when you've already filed for i-130, but look through the guides to see if anything else fits your situation better.

Hello Monica!
that is my case, I came with Tourist visa, I met my husband and I overstayed.
You are missing the form I-864 affidavit of support.
Remember that the form G-325 A is one with your biographic information and the other one with his biographic information.
Besides that the proof of your bonafide marriage, photos, lease of apt, bills together, joint account, etc.

I have pictures of how we made my package.
I will post them, maybe that is useful for you.

@AmyNJ I think with this list I should be okay. But if you have time to post the pictures I would love to see them. And thanks for mentioning that we BOTH need to do a G-325A form. That is not mentioned in the list. Thanks again. :)

I don't think you need to send a g-325a for both of you - the AOS is only your husband's, you are not the one adjusting status. You're only involved in the financial part.

Everything else they needed from you, you already sent with the i-130.

For the I-693, Do we get the civil surgeon appt. before sending in the I-485?

Yes. And don't forget about I-864 which is almost the most important piece of the package and requires a lot of supporting documetation (tax returns, pay stubs and so on).
