Anyone transferred from Nebraska to Texas and heard anything.  I thought the point of transferring was for things to get sped up.  I feel like we are going to be waiting a long time still.  It has been 5 and a half months with the transfer, and nothing has been done.

When was your case transferred? Nebraska does this from time to time when they need to balance the workload. From what I've seen here, approvals usually come within a month after the transfer.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

It was transferred Feb.9th. If it gets approved a month later I will be over my 6 month mark.  It is just a nightmare.

Not long now, I think. It seems many are going over the 6-month mark now. We almost did last year (5 months 13 days). Have you started to prepare for the NVC stage now that you are getting close to the I-130 approval?

I have a lot prepared.  Do have one question though....who submits the 864 forms...the petitioner or the beneficiary...I have looked at all the different list and tried to get everything to my husband in Colombia.  Since I will more then likely not be able to be there I want to make sure he has EVERYTHING a head of time and we do not have to worry about it.
