g-325a form, which name i should type

Hello, so we are preparing papers for AOS, i just dont understand this part if you can help me about this i would be grateful.

In this example;  in the box outlined by heavy border below section, that girl used her maiden name. Should i use my maiden name also? Or do i need to type my marriage name.

I never even noticed that in the example form, interesting. 

 

You should use your legal name. If you changed name when you got married then that's your legal name.

We went to SS Office and applied for Social Security Card with my married last name. 

 

If you did like that and everything went smooth with it then i will do it how you said it. :) Thank you. 

 

And if something is wrong with that example form, i think moderators should fix it :)

Agreed. Go with your current legal name. If you changed your name when you married (note that a marriage certificate is a valid legal name change document in the US), then use your married name.

In my marriage certificate (we got married in Florida) it doesn't say my last name or if i wanna change my name or my changed last name. My mother-in-law said it is how it is. All you need to do get SS card with your new last name. 

 

So yeah i guess i will use my legal name. :) 

 

I thought my alien number is given to my maiden name. so i need to type my maiden name over there.
