Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC

Please read everything below and refer to it throughout your NVC journey, whether this is your first month at NVC or your third. :bonk:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before posting questions, please read the wiki Saylin wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it ;)Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites!
If you want to see a visual of the NVC process, please view Saylin's flowchart here.
Yes this thread was created by our great Queen Saylin and the knowledge is still going forward. This thread I pray stays alive and well as many who have gone through the process or still going can chime in and help and assist.
If you're wondering about time frames, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process smile.png That means if you are on this thread WE expect you to have an up to date timeline.
And once you've got a case complete, please join the case complete/interview thread started by me, Dwheels76 on (currently March 2017 thread),
So....... still no movement...30 minutes on hold.... to get nothing.....
Scan date : 11/28
Sup Review: 1/18
Document review: 1/18
I complained to the person this time:  its only 3 pages, how long could it possibly take to review 3 pages.
NVC:  "She doesn't know and cannot know when the review will be completed"
Guess my frustration is getting the better of me so I said " This process is now coming up on 500 days for me - thats a really long time to be waiting" ....
NVC:  she said I'm sorry sir, we are the only NVC in the world"
I said " I know its not your problem, but, this process used to be MUCH faster before it was centralized"  - she was sort of getting annoyed.... So I said thank you and ended the call.
But seriously..... these people should live 500 days without their loved ones
Ok, so I had time to think about this.  If they are already processing dates for March at the US Embassy in Tokyo and my case is not processed yet.... does that mean my family has to wait until APRIL now - any chance for February or March?
Anyone processing for Japan besides me?
I'm so beside myself......
Its possible for March.
To everyone getting their CC congratulations we are one step closer. And to those still waiting don't get discouraged like my husband tells me it will all be worth it when distance when be between us no more. We are starting tomorrow with interviews being scheduled so let's all keep mind positives.
It takes a lot of patience but also a lot of faith, trust me everyone works out when it needs to.
