Do you get interview waiver letter like with AOS?

Hi all,

 

As explained in a previous topic, I have anxiety disorder, ADHD and panic attacks. This process stresses me out beyond belief and the idea of an interview scares the ####### outta me.

 

I know with AOS if you don't get an interview, you receive a waiver letter (we did). Is this the same with ROC, or won't we know till it's adjudicated?

You may receive a letter, but nothing is definitive until it's finally adjudicated.

 

There's always a chance of an interview with RoC no matter how strong or weak your case, for USCIS training purposes. Their adjudicators need to know what the red flags are to spot, and they can only know that by having both strong and weak cases in front of them to interview.

We had the letter for AOS but with ROC we didn't get a letter, just a text saying it was approved and then the new green card in the mail.

What are the chances of an interview? I know there's a slight chance, but I wondered if I'd get a notification first if not. I know AOS filers receive an interview waiver letter.
