Hi friends please I need ideas, my cr-1 petition has really been delayed at the NVC level, evidence was submitted and received by NVC on November 15, but till date I haven't heard anything from NVC. I spoke with an agent two weeks ago and he told me my case was going to be forwarded to supervisor review, I called last Monday and the lady I spoke with told me my case has been forwarded to the supervisor so I should wait. Pls my question is, can I call again and ask to speak directly to a supervisor or I should just wait?. Thanks you

Just a little naive about the entire process, how do I check my scan date?. BTW this is a general overview of my case. Petition was submitted to USCIS and approved in July, early August I got notification from NVC and I followed the steps given, payed all the fees after receiving the invoice, then submitted at the supporting documents, Nvc then requested my wife's birth certificate which I had already sent to them, I then re-submitted to them again and in October I got another email requesting her b-certificate again, so I called and was told that the b-Cert they had on file is the old type so they needed the new one. I then asked my wife to got and get the new one, which she did and emailed it to me, this document was submitted and per the confirmation email, nvc received it on November 15th 2016. I was told to wait for six weeks, I waited and heard nothing from them, so through an advice I got from this site I called two weeks ago and was told my case was going to be reviewed by a supervisor because it has extremely been delayed and I will hear from them, but still haven't heard anything. Please what is the next step. Can I call again and request speaking to a supervisor or I should wait? Thank you for reading and I welcome suggestions

You should join this thread where there are others who are waiting to hear from NVC:

Currently, people with scan dates in November are hearing back from NVC.  Hang in there - I think you should hear soon.  You can call NVC and ask to speak to a supervisor and if none are available, ask for a supervisor call back and explain that your original application was several months ago.  About the scan date, just ask the NVC representative what date did they receive the last mail from you and that would be your scan date.  For example, you can send something today, but they won't enter it in their system until Friday = scan date would be Friday.  I hope this helps.
