I know the first thread on this forum is for EI but none of the links work anymore to Service Canada. Does anyone happen to have currents ones?

 

Also how was your experience in applying for those who have a K1 visa?

There are recent reports of K1 in the EI thread.  Most seem to have no issues.  Obviously you can't get any pay until you are able to work (have the EAD) but you should still apply within 4 weeks of leaving your employment.
