Hi Inyang,

Thank you for the step by step guide. My giance received the letter from the Abu Dhabi Embassy on Oct 19 and November 15 NVC Ready for interview. But every time I would schedule an appointment, it gives me an error.  What is the case number I should use:

ABDxxxxxxxxxxx 01 ABD mine

ABDxxxxxxxxxxx 02 ABD child

Should I realy wait for an interview date?  Please help.

Hello, please wait for the US embassy letter maybe your case is not yet in their system thus you are receiving the error. I would also suggest that you call or email them to verify your case status.

Abu Dhabi US Embassy has open the first available date but it is too early as it is one week from now. If I pay online now, will other dates be open for me to select which date I wish to have the interview and besides, my daughter and I have not gone for medical test.  Can we take a medical test now before we schedule for the interview?

Hi ThessB, you can't do your medical unless you have a confirmed schedule for interview because the clinic will ask for the interview confirmation letter. What you can do is choose a date of your interview that will still give you time to do the medical. In my case, I scheduled my interview Sept. 18, 2016 and had my medical Sept. 4.

Will Abu Dhabi schedule the appointment? If so, how did they contact you? Did you provide them with your details?

I have created an account and paid online but cannot schedule an appointment, calendars are locked.

if you cant see the dates then there is no available schedule yet. Check again after a week or call the US embassy call center

For those of you in Abu Dhabi, how long did it take to get your case number from NVC, then to schedule an interview?
