New Zealand Beneficiaries? PCC

Hello Everyone,

I don't think there are too many New Zealand beneficiaries out there but I'd like some advice if anyone has been through this before.

Unfortunately earlier this month I received a checklist from NVC because the Auckland consulate did not send the Police Clearance Certificate to the NVC despite our request in early November (we left out the case barcode cover sheet in our email request and were never notified anything was wrong).

 

We followed up with them immediately after receiving the checklist, and sent another request for them to send the PCC, with all the necessary information and requested that they confirm receipt and provide an estimated timeline of when they'll be able to send it to the NVC.

They have not responded, and when my husband calls, it goes to voicemail.

 

This is soooo ###### because I have no control over getting this to the NVC! Does anyone know how long it will take for them to do that? 

 

I need confirmation that they will send it, what date they send it so I can then follow up with NVC to ensure they receive it.  Once received, how do I know it will be paired with and reviewed with my full application again? >_< I'm stressing out relying on others to handle this when they clearly don't care about whether any action gets taken or not.

I was a K1 Visa applicant, so not the same type as yours. My issue was my Canadian police clearance, which arrived months sooner that expected. Meaning, as we were stuck in AP at NVC, I was worried the 6 months limit on the foreign clearance meant they wouldn't honor it.  I emailed the consulate, and they were pretty quick to respond. I'm not sure how you are attempting to reach them. I never had occasion to call them, but the email worked well for me.  Hope you get this sorted soon.

Hi, fellow kiwi here!
I didn't have to provide a barcode sheet with my police clearance, but I did have to include my case number.  There was a form to fill out and submit, did you fill out the form?  Sorry just asking questions to figure out what was missed. 
We requested mine back in november too, and didn't receive any notification that it's been sent or received.  We just hope for the best.  I wonder, have you tried the "ask NVC" form online to ask them if they have it?  I find I get a reply in a few days from them.

Hey! That's exactly what I did and they didn't end up doing it. Yes, I filled in the sheet with case number but it isn't enough. There needs to be 3 total attachments to the email. 1. The filled out sheet 2. Biographical page and 3. The barcode sheet.

 

it says  this in the automatic reply that you get. Please read through it again, it does state that you have to include the barcode sheet if they  are supposed to send it to the NVC.  This was the one thing that caused me to have a checklist and I hope the same doesn't happen to you. I recommend re sending with all the attachments if you missed one.

I'm at the same point as you ... at NVC and sent documents but awaiting an answer. 

I must have been mixing up my thoughts earlier... I just took a look at my email and see that I did send all the required documents. And it was end of September I requested it. (Sorry I have a fussy teething baby and was clearly not thinking straight earlier lol). 

 

I too have not been advised whether they received it, so I've gone ahead and emailed the NVC to ask. 

 

If you've sent the required info this time it will get paired with your application via the barcode you provided. I wouldn't stress about the pairing up.  I would give it a couple of weeks then email via their secure NVC form or call NVC (I personally find it easier to email but depends how fast you wish to get an answer).
