Traffic violation. Chances for Citizenship

Yesterday I got my first citation ever for speeding in school zone. Went 28 in15 mph zone. I'm planning on paying it right away of course.

I heard that traffic violations shouldn't affect you but I'm concerned that it's school zone. Kinda shows me as an irresponsible person.

We are surrounded by 4 school zones. You literally can't go around them. Kids distracted me. But that's not an excuse I know...

anyone knows how it may affect me at my interview next year?

It won't.

Just make sure you mention it at your interview, because you will be asked if anything has changed.
