I requested an Expedite after re sending missing items. My reason was because of death in the family (grandpa) i provided a death certificate. do you think this will be valid enough to be faster?

I am filing a CR-1 visa for my spouse. I was asked to submit the missing I-864 under my name because i only submitted joint sponser's form.

No. how does the death of your grandfather cause a hardship to you? I don't think a death in the family is a reason for an expedited case. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria

Sorry for your loss but elderly people die. It happens to everyone.

There's no harm in asking for an expedite but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Expedites are rarely approved except for extreme hardship; highly unlikely grandpa's death qualifies.
