For i751 the California Service Center is currently processing applications that were received on April 21st 2016 and Vermont is currently processing applications from December 12, 2015

12/3/2014: EAD and Advanced Parole in Production :dancing:

12/3/2016: Filed i751 at California Service Center

^ timelines here are not super accurate to relay on actually. I thought processing vould take up to +1 year

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

10/22/2020: Biometrics Reuse Notice.  12/22/2020: Online Status Changed to Interview Was Scheduled.

From the way things are going it looks like it. I sent my in on February and still waiting to hear something back......the 1 year extension letter is almost expired.

Package Sent ----> 3/13/17

Package Received ---> Friday, March 17, 2017 @ 3:50 am

CC Charged ---->  3/20/2017
NOA ----> 3/23/17                                                                                
Finger Prints ---> 4/14/2017 --> Early FP 4/12/17!!
Inline for an Interview notice received ---> 4/14/17
Interview Scheduled ---> Waiting for letter in the mail to see the actual date.  8/30/17
letter in the mail arrived ---> 9/5/17
Interview Date ---> 10/05/17

Yeah Vermont seems to be more than 1 year behind on processing ROC applications.. There's also this website https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do from uscis which should be more accurate.. according to that California is currently taking 6 months to process i751 while Vermont is currently processing applications from November 2015.. again this can never be very accurate since each application might take longer than others so you can never know for sure

I filed december 2015 at vermont.... so far nothing :(. Your extension letter is vailid for a year from the date your green card expired I belive. My green card expired March 2016 so I am ok for another few months. Its frustrating but hopefully we will all receive some good news soon.

Great question.. interested to find out about that too ! technically you should be able to send in your n400 since you have been a permanent resident for the past 3 years.. I'm not sure if the USCIS has any requirement that you can only have 1 application pending but it's certainly an interesting question..

Yes, you can apply for the citizenship (N-400) if your ROC has not been approved yet and you are eligible for citizenship. If you search N-400 while ROC pending you may be able to find out what to include in the package in place of a 10 year green card. I think you send a copy of your 2 year green card and the 1 year extension letter, but not 100% sure.

People file for citizenship while their ROC is processing all the time. Sometimes they find it kicks USCIS into gear and they process the ROC in order to get started on the N400. Some people even have their ROC and N400 interviews combined into one.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.
