Hey guys,i like to ask a question, has anyone here file to remove condition without joint tax return? My wife file her tax return, but she didn't add me why she file it,but she file married ,its it's a big deal to uscis ?and we bot names on the rent lease,and joints bank account, but every pay period, she always go and wedrew money from.the joint account and pay the bills,is anything iam missing here ?pls correct me

05/22/06 - Biometrics scheduled (online update) and appt letter was mailed on 05/20/16 - Day 12

05/24/06 - Biometrics letter became viewable online (appt scheduled for 06/07/16) - Day 14

05/27/16 - Received Biometrics letter in mail - Day 17

05/31/16 - Was denied walk-in fingerprints with just 1 person left in line. Milwaukee office, boo! - Day 21

06/07/16 - Biometrics completed in Milwaukee, WI - Day 28

12/21/16 - Passed Citizenship test/Interview was successful! - Day 197

01/26/17 - I am a US citizen!!! - Day 233

Separately is ok, but keep in mind that co-mingling of finances is an important part of ROC. A jointly filed tax return is one piece of evidence that can be used. There are others as well.

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

both can file as joint or seperate just not single. it is usually better to file jointly since you can get a lower effective tax bracket but there are times it is better to not file jointlt. there is always the option to re file if you guys find it is better to file the other way.
