Noa2 October 3 no case number,no mail from nvc what can I do it's been 24 days

I don't know why they delay at this point of the k1 journey,I saw a timeline with noa2, October 3 and nvc received October 27

I received my NOA2 on October 4th. No news from NVC so I decided to call this afternoon. After several attempts, I was able to get someone on the phone (chose option 7.) The person on the phone gave me the case number and told me that the case was sent to the embassy today actually.

i thought it was 603-334-0700 option 3?

** UPDATE **

Inspired by the possibility it might be there... I just called. 603-334-0700 ... 1 for English... 3 for paperwork update... 22 minutes listening to elevator jazz (hold beep every 65 seconds).. I reached a nice lady. She verified my info .. and asked my fiancé's birthdate (OOPS).. luckily I knew where to get it. SUCCESS!! Our case was loaded today and a case # assigned :dancing:

check USCIS website, with your case number to see if the case was transferred to NVC, then you have up to 14 days from the date it was received to get a number issued. that's how our ours went, weeks ago. good luck.

K1 or CR1? I read somewhere on this site that if "its K1 after it gets approved, it makes its way to the NVC, and once a number is issued, NVC then forwards the case to the consulate. Others with more experience with this may correct me if I am wrong.

I just got mine today . We didn't keep calling . Approved 10/4/16 and NVC sent out docs 10/28/16 and en route to the embassy . Good luck my friend . This week probably its your turn .
