Proof of Employment - Do they call employers?

Hi All,

Just sending off the last lot of documents before I can book my interview for K1.

We are sending in the financial support and both my fiances employers have written letters saying he works there and has 'x' amount of hours etc. Is anyone aware of if the Embassy will call his employers to verify this info?

Or will they come back to us if they need any further info?

Usually they will come to you first; I have seen cases where the employer is called, but that is rare and onyl if they have suspicions you falsified your paystubs and letter from employer.
