Been gathering everything for several weeks, just about finished. I will be sending...

  • Check $340.00 (not made yet, will do this last)
  • G-1145 (completely filled) signed
  • Cover Letter (nearly finished, just needing to do a final page count of all the contents)
  • Form I-129F signed
  • 34a attachment signed
  • Petitioner letter of intent signed
  • Beneficiary letter of intent (signed by beneficiary and scanned to me)
  • G-325A for petitioner w/ 2x2 passport photo signed
  • G-325A for beneficiary w/ 2x2 passport photo (printed and cut) G325 signed by beneficiary, scanned, and emailed to me
  • Petitioner birth cert.
  • Beneficiary birth cert.
  • Beneficiary passport...all pages copied (she has recently been approved for Australian visit visa, but not stamped in passport yet. Received official letter, but her birthdate was wrong, so it will be redone. Should I just send the present letter and make a note of the mistake, or not bother?)
  • Petitioner Divorce Decree
  • Beneficiary Divorce Decree
  • Petitioner Name Change Order (changed name in 2010 with ex-wife--things we do for love--but divorce decree I had name returned to original...should I attach a cover page explaining this?)
  • Proof of meeting within 2 years cover sheet (signed), and proof (Beneficiary's airline ticket receipt to US, her first visit outside of US, return ticket to India receipt, 4 printed pages of collaged photos, receipts for engagement/promise rings). Also provided dropbox link to larger catalogue of photos on cover sheet of this section.
  • Proof of ongoing relationship cover page(signed) and proof (most recent WhatsApp chat log excerpt, WhatsApp screenshots, birthday card beneficiary sent to me) Included dropbox link on cover page which incudes more WhatsApp chats, Skype screen shots, WhatsApp screenshots, IMO, Viber, etc.

What do you think??

I was told to make sure that the Beneficiary Letter of Intent and G325 be originals with ink signatures not scanned copies. I am not sure how many got approved with scanned copies, you may want to double check this. I had my fiance courier the documents to me because I was afraid they needed ink signatures.

They will not go to your dropbox link, I would leave that out.

Have you only met in person once, or have there been more times? Include evidence from all visits if they exist. Also, passport stamps are a better way to show time together than receipts - receipts only show that you bought the ticket, not that you actually entered the country.

Good luck on your process! :)

Yes, I have heard conflicting information on this. Some say wet ink is required, and others say that it is no longer a requirement and is reflected in the absence of "original signatures only." That's why I put that info out, hoping someone would know the definitive answer.

Thanks about dropbox tip. I have observed that some had done so on their youtube videos on K-1 Visa submission, but you are probably right. I will probably provide a bit more evidence then.

Fiance came in on a tourist visa with her family as a sponsor. She was here for six months, and in that timeframe we met and was able to develop a relationship over a period of 5 months. I had not known of her prior to her coming. I have a copy of her passport and it has been stamped...and provided it, is that what you meant?

Thank you
