Hi,

My wife's interview is coming up soon. I am a US citizen and I applied for my wife and for Immigration.

I was just reading the instructions a d happened to comedy across this on the NVC Interview Preparation page:

Family-based visa applications:

An originally signed (in ink) Affidavit of Support from your petitioner and any additional financial sponsors who submitted a Form I-864 on behalf of your visa application. This is required even if you sent an originally signed form to NVC.

I sent my wife a copy of all forms I completed including a copy of I-864, my recent PayStubs, and a letter from my employer.

Does she need an originally signed in ink I-864 for the interview? Does anyone have any experience in this regard?

Very unlikely she will be asked to present it, but in the very rare case she is asked for it (sometimes things do get lost) she will need an original signature
