I appeared in interview on 23 September and interviewer asked some more pictures with petioner(my wife) after my interview my case was put in AP for almost 20 days. I sent more photos the next day after my interview. My case status changed to Ready on 13 October and after one week the updated date changed but the status remained same as Ready. I don't know what this Ready means. Is there anyone who can tell what this status means and what will be the next procedure. Your kind attention will be greatly appreciated. Thanks all ?

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

If the case status is updated that means somebody touched or work on your case...in your case of administrative processing you were asked to submit additional prove for your relationship so the consular officer make sure your relationship is bona fide ...you should be approved soon because you submitted the pictures but nobody knows how long will it take....some of us are under ap for a week, some for months or even years...it depends from case to case...I hope yours will be completed soon and you will be Issued. There is nothing you can do but wait.

Good Luck

It might change from ready to AP then to issued if everything looks fine for co officer ... mine went straight from ready to issued after I submitted what they asked me for ..it didn't took them a long time to issue the visa...
