Hi everyone. Is anyone familiar with the timeline and documents required to bring a stepchild of U.S. citizen? I am already living in the U.S. and have my green card. My Consular process took a total of 14 months, everything went well and did not encounter any problems. This year we are working in bringing my son who lives in Mexico through the same process. Any information or past experiences from someone who already went through this process would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Your USC spouse should file for the child. It takes about the same amount of time as your process and the cost is also the same.
