Good day to everyone!My name is Mary Ann.I'm from Philippines but living and working in Thailand now.I would like to ask what are the documents that me and my boyfriend need to prepare before filing the fiance visa?Me and my boyfriend are already engaged but we don't have any pictures since he proposed to me before we met.I thought he's just joking at that time but he's serious.Then today we change our status in a social media to make it really official.Is it really necessary to have pictures of the engagement? Or a letter of intent to marry is okay?And also is it okay that I'll do the processing here in Thailand even if I'm from Philippines? Hoping to hear answers from all of you. Thank you very much. You do not need pics of the actual engagement, the pics required are just to prove that you and your boyfriend are a couple, also collect as many receipts as you can with both of your names on them....and most of all look at the K1 Guides offered on this site and you will see a very detailed step by step how to get this done. When you say you've "met", was that in person? Because that of course is a requirement. Also, the K-1 forum is a good source of info, but you'd probably be better off asking most of your questions in the Philippines regional forum as many people that have done it before you from the Philippines can help you. Every embassy is a little different as far as paperwork and the interview process, etc.

5-04-16 – Mailed I-129F

5-12-16 - NOA 1

7-18-16 - NOA 2

7-25-16 - Hard copy of NOA 2

8-03-16 - NVC case number assigned

8-09-16 – Consulate received

8-24-16 – Interview date @ USEM - Approved!

9-16-16 - CFO completed in Cebu

9-22-16 - P.O.E. Boston, MA

10-08-16 - Wedding!

AOS

10-29-16 - Submitted AOS with EAD/AP applications

11-02-16 - AOS package delivered to USCIS Chicago lockbox

11-16-16 - NOA1 Text message with receipt numbers

11-21-16 - Received NOA1 Hard Copies
12-05-16 - Biometrics

02-14-17 - Received EAD/AP Combo card

04-24-17 - Received notification of AOS approval w/o interview
