Chance of my Fiance's friend coming on B2 for wedding.

Maybe I'm being too optimistic by posting here, but my Fiance is gonna have her interview soon and in the case that she gets her visa and can make it here, her best friend would like to join her. Her best friend recently graduated college and works as a professional photographer. What would her chances be like applying for a tourist visa to attend our wedding? Is it usually difficult to obtain a B2 from the US embassy in Romania?

No one can really say what her/his chances are.

Does not should like really strong ties. (He/she has to show strong ties to homecountry)

All he/she can do is try.

Every is different. Each country is different in it's own difficulties.

Think most people on here will say it doesn't hurt to at least try. That's only way you'll know for sure.

As long as she can show strong ties to her country, and a valid reason for wanting to visit the US (attending the wedding is a pretty good and valid reason).

But will she get approved or denied? That in itself is hard to say.

Again all can do really is apply for it and see what happens.

Tourist visa refusal rate for Romania is around 10-15%, I think. So that's not bad odds. The friend needs good ties, though.

Hi, when I first applied for the vistors visa, back in 2014, I was a full time student. The interview lasted less than 5 minutes and I brought lots of papers and pictures to proof my ties. The Consul told me he did not need anything from me. Visa granted for 10 years, which was later canceled without prejudice after getting the fiance visa. (K-1)

Update: She managed to get the visa to come to my wedding.

It seems like she might have managed to establish ties because of her bf in Romania. In her interview she was first asked why someone else is buying her ticket, she mentioned her bf who she lives with is buying the ticket and although invited, could not make it because of his job. She also mentioned that she would be our photographer for the wedding

It depends I guess. My fiance went for her K1 interview yesterday actually and there were 20 other people with her. 18 were rejected.

One guy even retorted with the fact that he was born on July 4th and deserves a shot at going to the US because of it haha

I was with my wife when she interviewed and we observed the many people who went before us.

There was more than a few that was noticeably distraught over the decision at their window. You tend to get and idea what the decision was.

You were allowed to be there during your wife's interview for a visitor visa?? Here they don't let anyone inside apart from the applicant.

Sheesh, embassies are so different depending on the country it seems.
