I am the Petitioning Sponsor and I'm using a Joint Sponsor.

I'm sending in Transcripts and my JSponsor is sending Income Tax Returns (along with SS-1099s) so on the checklist do I mark the both Transcripts and Tax Returns are enclosed even though the Transcripts belong to me and the Return to my co-sponsor?

Yes, you should put a cross by both tax return and transcript.

We sent a tax return and W2 for our joint sponsor and got a checklist (after case complete) to bring a transcript to the interview. Just thought I'd let you know....

We would have sent a transcript but we tried unsuccessfully to order one three times to no avail. Time was moving on so we just sent the tax return and W2. We now have a transcript that eventually arrived after we sent the packages.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Thanks so much!

Out of curiosity and for future reference, what if we both used Transcripts, how would we mark our tax returns: "Unavailable" or "Not Applicable"?

I'm asking this because I asked my Joint sponsor to send me her Transcripts, she may or may not get a hold of them in time, but if she does, I wont send the returns, only the transcripts...
