Hello! We finally have our interview for green card after waiting over a year for our interview! I understand I will need a the last three-four years of my taxes. Will I need the full, printed out version of these, or can I just send the first page? I don't want to print out hundreds of pages unless it's completely necessary. Also, my husband isn't fluent in English and we don't have a translator. Does anyone see a problem with this? Any questions we should be going over?

Thank you so much for your help!

I'm trying to find it, but there was a recent case where the us citizen spouse tried translating for the foreign one and it went really bad. If your spouse doesn't speak fluent English and won't be able to understand the interviewing officer properly is highly recommended to get a translator to accompany you two to the interview.

Technically they'd have every document you ever submitted to them but it's best of you take copies of everything to the interview, in case they misplaced or lost any of them. For tax documents, you can go to the IRS website online and have them mail the transcripts (best version of your tax documents!) to you.

Thank you for your help! I've prepared the tax transcripts. My husband isn't fluent in English but knows a little. I was hoping it would be okay since we already have a child together. Does anyone else have experience with a situation like this? I'm trying to find a translator in Houston that doesn't cost hundreds.
