Hello there, I'll explain my situation. I really need help with this!

I started a cyber-relationship a few months ago and we agreed with me coming to LA and reunite to get married and be together :goofy:

I got a F-1 Visa to do a 1-month english+film course in los angeles. Our plan is to get married and see if I can get my green card through the family process (adjustment of status)

What are my options? What can we do? How long can i overstay and still get my 2-year green card?

Your plan was fraud.

Second this one.

Marrying while here and then filing for a CR-1 visa is okay; but what you're suggesting is a preplanned meeting and marriage with intent to adjust. That is fraud.

Tell the officer at the POE your plan. They will advise you accordingly.

Best response ever!

I guess I'm a little too honest about my objectives. US law is incoherent. Wanting to meet meet with your partner and share a life is fraud? Canada is really OPEN to immigrants.

but let's say that I want to take my chances and overstay for a while. That way we can build a long and strong relationship and still get married. Would i be elegible to adjust status that way?

To the OP....

There is no way to even answer your questions except with a stern "NO"...

Any other advice given on this matter may be helping to support you in committing immigration fraud which is against the whole basis of VJ and what all of us are here for.

Also, OP, go to Canada and tell them your plans for immigration, you will also get denied entry to Canada. (I know, I went to secondary screening for just coming in for 16 days, I am there right now)

What you fail to grasp here, is that when it comes to immigration (legal anyway), they really search as if they need to find the needle in a haystack. 99.5% they will find out that you intended to immigrate before coming to US. If you still wanna take that risk, go ahead.

No one here on VJ condones fraudulent behavior nor advises knowing your intention. You have access to all the guides here as well as USCIS, you can figure it out.

Shoot: 3 people beat me to it.
