Getting married in algeria?

So im going to algeria in march to visit my fiance and i wanted to know if i could marry him when i go visit. But i read something that it would make it harder for his to get a visa to come to the states?

I cant find anything online about the documents i would even need to get married in algeria. I need some advice!

Assuming you're still planning to go down the K-1 route as your previous posts suggest, marrying him in Algeria would make him ineligible. The K-1 visa is only for people who are engaged and wish to get married in the US.

That's right, if you're married you'll have to apply for a CR-1/IR-1. It takes about one year, making it slower than a K-1.

K-1 is only for non-married couples who intend to marry in the US. That's the whole point of the visa.

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

yuppppp and they are not like tunisia where religious and government papers are done together. Took us 10 days in Tunisia vs 4 months in Algeria.

ohh ..well as long as it is a valid and recognized marriage it doesn't matter where it was ... the faster the better.
