Hey I was going over this form this evening and looking at what is required I wonder if we need something from each area listed

1. Statement from my bank. Showing yearly deposits, date opened, and present balance.

2. Statement from my employer. Showing salary, temporary or permanent, and dates employed/nature

3. Tax return if self employed.

I am a realtor who also flips homes so my bank balance is all over the place. My income is more than sufficient.

Is just using the tax return sufficient and do I need the whole return or is the pages showing my income sufficient?

If you are currently self-employed in any of the following ways, you do not need to obtain submit evidence of income:

  • Babysitter, elderly caretaker, construction worker, handyperson, housekeeper, landlord, musician, nanny, seamstress, tailor, artist, or writer.

Saw this on the NVC website. Part of my business is property Management and we run 19 rental properties. So this exempts me from showing evidence of income?

oh wait this is only if i am below the poverty line.

cancel that
