Hello every one.

Im going to Copenhagen for the first time, I have a quick questions given im not very familiar with the Danish culture, I'm aware Denmark has its own currency however I was wondering if they still take Euros or i should just go ahead and get Krones. Any local plate that I should try ? Is that ok to talk to people in English without asking if they speak english ? any thing else that i should know?

Tank!

Most places will take EURO but it will be good for you to have som DKK on you. You can however change a lot of places.

Yes, you can go ahead and speak english to people they are all use to it.

Danes don't like people to close, like getting to close and they like their space.

If you feel like people seem cold it's not what they are trying to do it's just how the culture are.

My guess would be around 100kr for the train.

Coffee well it depends on where you get it but expect about 50kr. pr kop

Lunch also where you get it but about 70-150kr. and then drinks also. about 50kr. for a coke/beer

i came back a month ago from Europe, I really loved Copenhagen, such great city, so modern and at the same time classy. you were right about how expensive the city is however, they do offer high quality food and service, everybody is very polite. Considering Copenhagen is a tourist city i struggled to find information in English, some restaurants do have their manu in both languages but most small coffee shops or convenion stores dont so you have to bug the staff with silly questions just because we couldn't read Danish. Definitely Denmark is my top 5 places to live in Europe, however I have been told there are many social restrictions in the job and housing market for foreigners.

I'm glad you liked it and had a great time.

Yes those places don't have info in English :)

Well you are from spain so you are free to move there but it will be extremely hard to get your USC spouse with you do to the very strict immigration there.

Can't see why the housing should be hard. But yeah can be hard with getting a job if you don't speak danish though.

I checked what options my spouse would have and sounds like the Danish government would want me to make a deposit of 8000 which sounds outrages, I do IT so i think they are quite flexible with the language issue, I pointed out the housing issue because rent is controlled by the government and the private sector has limited housing too .
