Simple question.. how can my fiancee schedule a medical exam?

Are medical exams necessary for every consulate?

At what point along the 'journey' will we be able to do this?

Thanks,

Ryan

Yes all most have the medical exam. (You will also need vaccines for the AOS after marriage)

You can do that after the NOA2 (Most countries need the case number from NVC before they can book) ...

You really need to read up on the process so you know what you are dealing with.

You can use it to check your case status online.

It will be on it's way to the embassy now or already have gotten there. They should contact you with instructions on what to do next :)

If you go to the Venezuela portal, you can read about the embassy specific information, some of it is outdated, but I believe it does have the email listed there that you should email to request packet 3. Good luck!

Thanks for your response! My Venezuelan fiancee is residing in Canada, so I believe she would instead go to a Canada portal?

I would assume so if that is the consulate she is interviewing at (but don't quote me on it, I only know about VE, but it makes sense). I only saw under your name it says Venezuela and I didnt click your profile haha :P I have heard from other Canadians here that you wait for them to contact you in order to move forward and I believe they are pretty strict about that. You may also want to look into if you need to get a Police Record from Venezuela. Hopefully not, it is a HUGE pain. Good Luck!
