Has anyone else did the K-1 Fiance Visa themselves?

Hello,

I highlighted my questions in black bold. I'm new to this forum. I am an American woman, and my fiance is from Russia. I have to start the fiance Visa this month so that I can bring him over here as soon as possible. Is it going to be super difficult if I'm doing this all myself without a lawyer? I'm very organized, and if given the proper instructions on everything I can do it myself. Has anyone else done the K-1 Fiance Visa themselves, and was successful... or in the process like me? Also is that site (rapidvisa.com) a scam or is it a real help?

If we have all the relationship proof, and I filled the forms and everything correctly...is there anyway they can just deny him the visa...just for the heck of it?

Anyways basically if I cannot bring him to America, than we agreed that we will just live together in another country where we both don't need visas....That's just plan B if we couldn't be together in USA, but I prefer that I try to bring him to America so we can be close to my family, and for him it doesn't really make a difference where we live as long as we are together.

Yes! I did it myself all through resources on the Internet. If you need any advice or have questions don't hesitate to ask! It's simple, the only thing I found confusing was putting photos and information together to prove our relationship is legitimate. I didn't know how much I needed to provide. But a few photos of us (9 or 10) and some with his family and mine were more than enough. I got approved in less than 2 months.

Yes, Right now I'm in the process of gathering our photos together, and I have written letters from his parents to us, and 2 photos with his family. Also when you mean photos with your family...was it just a photo with you and your parents together?

Sorry I should have been more clear. I attached photos of my fiancé with my family and photos of myself with his family.

I also wrote on the back of each photo to make things clear for whoever is reviewing it. I added the Location the photo was taken, the date, and a little description like (John and Mary with John's family).. Just an example of names lol!

Do you think 2 photos with his full family is enough? Also are written letters from his parents something to add as well?

I echo everyone else: unless you have any red flags, a lawyer is not needed. Just read the guides on here and the instructions on the USCIS website carefully and stay patient with USCIS - it's a lengthy process, but well worth it. Good luck!

Could you give me an idea of what an example of a red flag could be?
