Hello to all: I am in the process of putting together my AOS package (K-1 visa holder, just married two weeks ago). Birth certificates issued overseas comes with the birth certificate itself and then a series of pages containing statements as to the authenticity of the signatures of those certifying the authenticity of the certificate. The last one being the Haye apostille page. Do I need to translate all these pages as well or just send the translation of the birth certificate itself? Thank you for your help!

although translation is not a requirement during the k1 visa, is indeed a requirement for the adjustment of status from a k1 visa.

When I moved, I brought extra official copies with me for my AOS, we decided to go to an immigration attorney office and have it traslated by a certify translator. After I was done with the process, I learnt, you can actually translate the document yourself if your english is good enough to do so. Either way, I think wouldn't changed what I did anyways. I paid like $22 total and it came along with an official stamp and signature of a certify translator, and my ENTIRE birth certificate was translated including the apostilla page.

To be quite honest, the safest thing to do is translate everything that is not in english...just to make sure.... getting a rfe because the translation was not complete can delay your process, significantly.
