Questions, questions about K-1 visa

Hello all

I'm an American female and my fiance is Italian. I have been reading so much about the K-1 visa and I'm really anxious. I sent out the application plus documents and the G-325a as well as letters/statements and photographs. Maybe that's a bit overboard, but I want this ride to be smooth, not bumpy.

My application, according to my USPS priority mail, was received at the Dallas lockbox Thursday, August 25th.

I have so many questions. How long will this process take? Did I do the right thing in adding extra info? Also, I have been employed a little over two years full time with my current employer. Before that I was just getting started in my field. I support myself. I am worried about so much.

I just want to marry the man I love. Any insight from those going through this or especially have gone though this?

Thanks so much.

Relax. Everyone worries and panics about possibly not doing enough. You're not alone! :) Although it seems like such a daunting process its actually very straight forward and simple. So stop worrying :D

I took extra effort in Our i-129f petition because i was very similar to you - worrying. But we just received our NOA2 after only 52 days! (Crazy fast  )
In the ring binder I had:

G-1145 Form
I-129f Form completed and Signed
G-325a for me & fiance + passport photos

Proof of Fiance citizenship (birth certificate)

Signed letters of Intent to marry

additional information for Question 34a (How we met & how we met in person)

Photographs of us together with dates and locations

Copies of my passport that showing stamps of when I traveled to the US.

Copies of boarding passes.

Copies of some of our text/skype/Viber/Email conversations (to prove bone vide relationship)

For all the evidence I also wrote a cover letter stating what the evidence was. Every page was signed initial at the bottom also.

It was a lot, and I may have supplied more than what I should have but I wanted to ensure I had given them everything they needed. :D

In regards to financial support, as long as you're earning over the poverty guidelines you should be fine!

I hope that helps!!

Wow... You guys are breaking some records here! I think that's faster than usual for processing time, isn't it? I was wondering, did you both wait for the notice to come in the mail/email/text? Or were you frequently checking your status online and you noticed it... followed by a text message/email/mail?

Hi..I am in the same situation as you. My case is a little further along. We got our case number and invoice number today. Everything has flowed along smoothly. We did get a RFE but, it only took about a week (we were expecting it) lol. You can follow our Timeline if you like and feel free to message me anytime. I am really getting nervous about the interview now. Its coming so fast now. Anyway, this website is great. It offers so much great information and moral support. Good luck!!
