Hello guys I have a question for you guys...

So my fiancee needs her birth certificate for the K1 Visa interview. ( we got approved on 6/16/2016)

My question is....when I filled out for I-129F and the G-325A its asked that "All other name used" (I thought they were asking like Nickname used or name that used on the documents currently) I put none for my fiancee but she had her name changed back in 2009.....that was my mistake and is there anyway that I can call the embassy and tell them my mistake? or I should just have her go to the interview with the name change documents?

In South Korea they do not have Birth Certificates. (In Korea its called Basic Certificate and Family Relation Certificate)

What do I need to do now?

Any Informations will be appreciated.

You can probably send the embassy the corrected G-325A with her past names (No Nicknames). Make sure you include a cover letter explaining the situation with your case number clearly stated. Every embassy usualyy has a customer service number you can call to ask also. It may be that they just tell you to have her bring the corrected G-325A with her to the interview. We had something similar happen. One of her prior names was left off.

So our case is sitting at the US Embassy in South Korea now. Should I just have my fiancee call the Embassy in South Korea? So the case in no longer with the USCIS in the US correct?

Is this a big issue? obviously I did not catch it until today and it was unintentional.

She does not have any bad record in the past name...

Yes, everything from this point forward is with the South Korean U.S. Embassy. USCIS and NVC are no longer part of the process until you do an Adjustment of Status with USCIS.

My fiancée called the US embassy in South Korea and obviously the person my fiancée spoke to had no idea what he was doing. He was very rude and didn't want to help.

Should I send in the new corrected G-325A and I-129F to the embassy now to the US embassy? Or can I just bring the corrected ones to the interview?

Is my mistake a big issue to the US embassy? We are not trying to hide anything...
