Hi everyone, good day!

I am done with my Medical exam and I was released the brown envelope last August 1, 2016. HOWEVER, during the PHYSICAL EXAMINATION, the doctor said she thinks i have a cysts. I was asked to have an ultrasound and she was correct- I have an ovarian cyst. The ultrasound copy was attached to the records inside the brown envelope.

My question is, will that information about my ovarian cysts affect my interview at the embassy?

I had it operated last August 12, 2016. Do you know if i should tell the consul or I should wait for him/her to ask me?

Also, what documents I should prepare from the hospital that operated me?

Thanks so much! Kinda confused.

Based on my own personal experience you will be fine.

My visa was approved and I have to take ongoing medication from a transplant and I also have anl injury from a car accident 10 years ago. Neither of which was brought up in the interview but were both well documented in my medical review.

The medical reviews are really to make sure you don't have things like Syphilis or TB or any mental issues that can cause you to be a harm to yourself or others. This was told to me directly by the immigration doctor.

I also did not take any extra documents to the interview concerning both of those. I am however taking letters from my doctor to get my medications through immigration (not sure if you need to take ongoing meds for a cyst)

Goodluck at your interview.

Ovarian Cysts arent contagious. Medical exam mainly focus on contagious diseases eg syphilis and mental illness.

I dont think it will affect. Are you suffering from PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) or another type of cyst?

Hi Barbie.ness,

I had the transplant about 4 years ago. So well before my medical review.

I am certain you will be fine. But if your medical review says you have the cyst but you have then since had it removed, you can always bring a letter from your doctor explaining you have had it removed, even just for your own peace of mind. But a cyst is certainly not something that they will deny you for.

I hope your interview goes well :)

I don't think it will be a problem because, like others said, it is not contagious. But for your peace of mind, you could get the doctor or hospital to write a letter saying the cyst was removed. The only possible issue I see would be with continuing medical costs, but if your sponsor shows the income necessary to support you, that should not be an issue, either.

The Ovarian Cyst and the Operation doesnt matter to the US EMBASSY INTERVIEW. The Filipino Consul and even the American Consul didnt ask anything about it. I didnt say anything because I was not asked. There was no even question why I rescheduled my interview. Again, golden rule is DO NOT volunteer information.

I got aprpoved Sep 27, 2016 and got my visa October 6, 2016. I will fly October 21, 2016.

GOD is good (L)(L)(L)

Thanks everyone!
