I-134 Family Size Question

Since I live with my mom and it will be all of us 3 and she will be filling out an I-134, and I'm a dependent (up until I start work in 2 weeks or so), does she put family size as 3? Also, when I fill out the I-134, do I put the family size as 3 since it's going to be all 3 of us living together? I seen on a post someone said 2, but I might have gotten confused. We'll all be in the same house? Thanks.

Actually the information you have given me is very conflicting as you first said in one thread of mine that it's a household of 3, and now in this thread it's a household of two. I'm new to this website, so a little compassion would be nice.. this isn't exactly a cake walk.

I'm living with my mother, and I was her dependent for the 2015 tax year.

But what I want to know is what if she no longer uses me as a dependent on her taxes and I am also working? Would the household size still be 3, or would it be two?

It would go by whatever is on the most recent taxes at the time of submitting the I-134. If she does not claim you in 2016 and you interview after those taxes are filed, then you would not be counted in her household size.

Nothing I told you was conflicting. YOUR household size is 2, you and your foreign fiance. Your MOM's household size would be 3, herself, you and your foreign fiance. You do not all provide one affidavit of support. That is not how it works. The USC petitioner provides their own I-134 and supporting documents. The co/ joint sponsor provides their own separate I-134 and their supporting documents. They are not combined. It is not one affidavit for the entire residence. I have not changed up anything I have told you from thread to thread. Read again.

I answered your question already about her not needing to include you in her household size if she does not claim you as a dependent on her most recent taxes by the time the K-1 visa interview would happen. Currently, she would need to.
