Hello, we got our noa2 waiting for nvc.

So we are gonna get files for i-134 affidavit of support.

I have some questions about it.

1) i am beneficiary, for i-134 does my fiancee need to have a job? His brother said he will be support for me and his brother's income is enough for what goverment ask. Does my fiancee still need a job? (Season almost gonna end in florida so he has some problems about getting a job right now. Please dont judge)

2) my fiancee lives with his brothers sister and mother. It is like a 8 people in a house. But they all have their own job and they are taking care of themselves, we were thinking about living with her mother for a while and saving money. So do we have to type 8 (3 of them is his sister's kids) household size? I mean do we have to mention it? I am kinda confused.

Please enlighten me about this. Thank you.

He doesn't have to have a job but he will need to fill the i134 stating he's unemployed and makes 0 income, attach the appropriate support documents. If his brother is the sponsor, he will also fill the i134. The household size will depend on what the brother claims on his taxes. If it's just him, the household size will be 2 (him plus you, the immigrant). If he claims other people, add the people to the previous count.

Thank you.

Forgot to mention the brother will also need the appropriate support documents. (Tax returns or tax transcripts, recent pay checks, letter from employer, bank statements, etc. I'd also include a copy of his passport Id page or birth certificate or copy of the naturalization certificate if he's a us citizen or the lpr card if he's a lpr)

If the brother doesn't claim your fiancé the petitioner as a household member on his taxes, the petitioner shouldn't be counted Edited by p-ana
