Domestic or international? Going back to my country for a visit

Hello everyone!.

After living over a year in the US I am going back to my country (Argentina) to visit my family.

I got my work authorization and my green card valid for 1 and 2 years respectively and I was wondering how do I enter back to my country, as domestic with my passport or as international? And when I come back to the US as domestic or international. I am so confused.

Maybe Argentina has different laws, but you cannot enter the US as "domestic or international." That doesn't make sense here (or maybe anywhere).

You will enter Argentina as an Argentine citizen and reenter the US as a US Permanent resident.

Usually "domestic or international" refers to the type of flight you get. Since you'll be going from the US to a foreign country that will be an international flight and you will land in an international terminal.

When you go back to Argentina, you just need to show them your passport. When you come back to the US, show them your passport AND green card. While at the US airport entering US again, you can go to the US Citizens/Permanent Residents line.

you are still and Argentinean citizen, so you will go through customs showing your DNI and passport, I am Argentinean as well, from Cordoba

you are a GC holder, so you will enter the US with your Argentinean passport and your GC

I don't know if they still stamp the passport, the last year that I visited as a GC holder was 2008

CBP officers stamp all passports.. US and foreign.. at airports.
