My fiancé who is French has her medical on September 2nd and her interview on Septemeber 7th. She lost her vaccination record book. Will she be able to get her shots done at the medical? Also she can't get a police certificate for 15 days which will pass her interview date. Will she still be good without it? If anyone has been to the us embassy or medical or interview can you please tell what has happened and what to bring exactly... Thank you

I was able to get my missing shots at my medical exam but that was done here in the US (I am not sure how it works in other countries). I'm not sure what to do about the police certificate.

i think that she could get her shot by the medical but she will have to pay for them, why cant she she go to her regular doctor and get the shots before the medical exam?

She lost her vaccine record book and doesn't know which shots to take but she took her blood test today from her doctor. Also she said that she was only able to order her police certificate online and it said it takes about 15 days. She did it on the 22nd. It comes from Rennes. Nice you probably will see her for sure than. Her medical is 3pm and interview is 9am.

i know u guys might feel lost in this process but we all do, the packet 3 says everything she needs for the interview and the doctors website shows all the shots she need its not hard to find it, the website is very well made( you have the link for the doctors website in your packet 3), she also need a blood test from a special laboratory in paris and a chest x ray also done in paris, those needs to be done before the medical exam, here again everything is explained in packet 3 and the doctors website( adresses and costs are provided).

ive also ordered my police record online(all french people does it) and as i told you it took a week to arrive in my case, its said two weeks on the website just in case they have delays....so lets cross fingers!! she really needs her police record at the interview. In packet 3 its said to schedule medical and interview ONLY when you have all the required documents...

ive read on several portals that sometimes people forget to bring some documents and so they dont give you the visa until they got the required documents.....

maybe just reschedule everything? or expect a delay on the visa delivery..

thats weird she got her interview the 7th at 09.00, its the exact same as mine..... so ill def see her :)

I contacted the doctor in Paris and she said to have her do her X-ray and blood work with her personal doctor where she lives and to just bring that with her. I see now on their website it looks like 5 different thinks to be vaccinated from. Yes I'm hoping she has her police certificate. It's been kind of hard since she works at a restaurant almost everyday till around 1am most days which is why we kept getting delayed to gather the documents. But just the police cert and we are good. I also read that most people have the same time for the interview. I think you just all meet at a certain time than they call one person in at a time for the interview...

How was your medical? For the interview appointment I just wanted to make sure that you also went and made your appointment on the website? She has the interview next the same day as you. She's just nervous..
